BPAD NewsThings move quickly at BPAD. The following are a few highlights of recent activities: January 18, 2010 BPAD commits to implementing its FLIP initiative in 2010. FLIP is an acronym describing BPAD's plan to develop a green building strategy tailored to the construction environment, resources, and market in Tianjin. FLIP is derived from Full Life Cycle Management, Lifestyle Shaping, Intelligent Building System, and Practical Price-Effective Technologies. November 24, 2009 BPAD's new Kansas City, Kansas office is established, staffed initially by Sino-U.S. Business Development Manager Sean Filson. November 11-14, 2009 Three BPAD members travel to Phoenix, Arizona to attend USGBC's Greenbuild 2009 International Conference and Expo—Kevin Copple, Ben Huober, and Sydney Qiu. June 19, 2009 After completing an extensive in-house study program, four BPAD members successfully obtain LEED Accredited Professional certification—David Li, Peter Li, Sydney Qiu, and Grace Xing. March 27-29, 2009 Kevin Copple attends The Fifth International Conference on Intelligent, Green and Energy-Efficient Building & New Technologies and Products Expo in Beijing, China. February 13, 2009 Kevin Copple successfully obtains LEED Accredited Professional certification—the first in Tianjin, China. |
